Summary: The Callaway FT-5 is an old design but still a great product. I borrowed a friend's driver one day 5 years ago and it is to this day still the best shot I have ever made on that hole. Caddying at a LPGA ProAm, I carried the bag for an amateur who later went on to become the women's senior champion. Her driver? The FT-5. Mine has been reshafted to match my 3 wood and I could not be happier.
Summary: This is the first new oversized driver I've purchased. Mine has a slight draw which works perfectly with my swing (most of the time). makes an unusual "ping" sound when hit square in the sweet spot ... grown to love that sound.
Summary: Fantastic club. This Callaway is solid and long when you hit it right. Off center hits spray a little bit but, as in most of golf, it's operator error. The club sets up well and looks great at address. Probably 10 yards longer than my FT-5 that it replaced. Great addition to my bag.
Summary: This driver and callaway both rock I had a happy gilmour moment go bad at the range end with an exploded clubhead but callaway was nice enough to replace it for me custom shaft and all anyway I've been Hitting the deepest drives ever since thanks callaway
Good club for intermediate golfers still struggling to cure a slice.

Summary: I have both the 11 and 10.5 loft FT-5 LH drivers. I bought this club based on golfdigest reviews for the year they came out. I have a pretty nasty slice and this club has made a world of difference allowing me to keep the ball in the fairway on a consistent basis. I favor the 10.5 over the 11 to help me control the lower flight path. It does make a difference. My previous driver was a Taylormade R5 - older club, less forgiving.
Great driver to increase yardage and keep the ball in the fairway.

Summary: I bought this product used, I guess 4-5 year old technology, my game doesn't require spending too much for once a week use and a 12-14 H.C. I got mine with a stiff professional tour type shaft for less than $75, very light wear. I like the design of the fused materials and the simplicity of the Draw vs Fade driver choices. I am also a fan of Phil! My drives are straighter, lower, and about 240-260 yds, older guy I am.
