  • Summary: I was glad to get the FT-5 driver this spring on special because of the reviews I read on the net. Left my Srixon 506 aside for the summer and tried to control this driver which I never could. Lost many yards driving and went from left to right. My handicap went down.

Callaway FT-5

  • Summary: I bought the FT 5 Driver on Ebay because I heard so much about it. I have been relatively happy with my X460 but I was looking for a bit more distance. Did not love the FT 5 on the driving range. Did not seem to go as far as my X.

Callaway FT-5 10 degree Driver reg. Fujikura 150 fit on

  • Summary: I purchased this to replace my Cobra Offset. I could not hit the FT-5. It was like swinging a feather and had no feel in the swing. When you hit the ball you can not tell how well or where on the club face you hit it. I tried it for a week and put it back on Ebay.

  • Summary: I own the ft-5 Neutral head, with the "tour" 9.5 loft and 1 degree open face. this club was built from Callaway with the Diamana Blueboard 73-Stiff shaft. when dead on, this club is great. it's actually pretty easy to hit but I didnt feel that the forgiveness was as great as people say.

  • Summary: Long story short, the head cracked on me after 2.5 weeks. When I took it back to Edwin Watts, they were extremely accomodating. I ended up getting a full refund, bought a brand new closeout Tour Edge Bazooka Geomax for $50 and I am hitting the ball better than the Callaway.

  • Summary: The way this club was hyped I thought there was something wrong with me. After reading some of the reviews I can see there are others that have an opinion similar to mine. The sound of this club is terrible, it' hard to get feed back as to how you struck the club.

  • Summary: Agree with others about this Driver. I have the 9.5 Tour version (open face) and mirror the statements below that this thing is hard to draw, in fact impossible for me. It's VERY easy to fade and hit straight. Aim slightly left on dog-leg rights and power fade this baby right down the middle.
