Consistently in the Sweet Spot
3 January 2014
Summary: This club picks the ball off of the fairway and has a good sized sweet spot to help in off center hits. I also use it on Par 5's with a dog leg to prevent my driving the ball through the dog leg either OB or into the trees. It is well balanced. I bought this to go with the Octane driver which I have had a great experience with over the years.
This quality product meets my expectations and adds to my quality of life.

Summary: The fairway wood has been a delightful purchase for me. I bought it at an attractive price and it is a quality product that matches my other Callaway clubs. I think my scores are at least a stroke better since I made the purchase, which makes me very happy.
Summary: That Tour Octane 3 metal wood is the best club I have ever owned... The 5 metal wood is great as well... Might not golf without it.. So good I bought two just in case.. Just swing it smooth and let the club do the work..The ball just explodes... Almost too easy to work, just be subtle.. And the smaller head just seems so much easier to hit off the deck than with the larger faced clubs.. Lot's of eagle putts lately..
Great Wood - Long Long - Easy to Hit - Easy to get up quickly -
13 November 2012
Summary: Easy to get in the air, long and a huge sweet spot. The Octane fairway woods are extremely easy to hit off the deck and the tee. My Driver is getting dusty as the 3 wood is only 10 yards shy and much more consistent and straight. Has improved my game tremendously. No longer fear the Par 5 or long Par 4.
