Summary: Ssssssssslice!!!! Not a forgiving club at all. 1 maybe 2 out of 5 drives straight. Difficult to control. Have a had better luck with Cleveland Launcher. Will be trading this bad boy in. Maybe its the evil name!!! Ha!
Summary: Needed a replacement for my old Big Bertha 460 and saw a great price for the Diablo Octane. However had trouble hitting it straight with the stock Project X 46" shaft--a lot of mishits and slices, and I used to hit an average 12 fairways per round with the old driver. I read several articles by golf pros stating that most amateur golfers are trying to hit drivers with too long shafts, so I took the driver to a local golf store and had the shaft cut to 44.5" and...
Summary: I don't see any difference between this and many of the others out there of the same composition. oh! I'm not getting paid to say good things about Callaway so I am saying it is not worth the high price. Buy a cheaper one unless you want the recognition.
Summary: awsome driver, i hit it very well, straighter than ever before, Got it used from 3 Balls.com, Used? was NEW to me had no scratches looked like new and 1/3 the price plus they gave me a box for future trades on clubs.
Summary: I only use this at the driving range for the occasional Sunday out with friends. After getting used to the slightly longer shaft, this has been wonderful. I hit the ball noticeably straighter and a solid 30 yards further. I also go to the range more often because I enjoy it more now. If you're a duffer and occasional driving range guy like me I recommend Calloway. I got this model as a year old left over for about $100.00! If you can still find this club, BUY IT!
Summary: I like it. Feels good, swings good and is forgiving, which is really good for me. I like a long, straight, crushing drive down the middle and this driver does that for me. I have a fast strong swing and always hit long drives. This club does the trick for me.
