Reviews and Problems with Callaway Diablo Edge Tour Driver

Great value in a premium driver

Summary: This is a great driver for the mid handicap player. The club has a reasonable length (45") Aldila Habanero shaft which loads easily with a midpoint kick. Launches the ball a little higher than the 9.5 degree loft would suggest, but not too much. Sounds good, but not as good as a Cobra. Very easy to work the ball with this driver-- one of the best 2010 offerings out there at this price point.
Excellent driver for the price, great feedback when hit, even off centre.

Summary: Lovely driver with smaller head than most other drivers. Ball flies off the face when hit properly, even off centre hits go along way. Great feel from the driver when hit and good solid sound. Overall excellent.
Summary: The diablo edge tour is definitely a club for the lower handicapper who wants a more penetrating ball flight and better roll as evidenced by the weight forward design. I used an X460 tour from Callaway for 3 years and they have similar shapes to them. The TOUR model has a hosel and more traditional narrow design than the standard diablo edge.
