Summary: Set reviewed: Callaway Diablo Edge Irons, Steel Uniflex Shaft, 4-AW Greetings all. This year I experienced a sad realization: That I was not as good of a golfer as I thought I was. This is not an easy thing to come to grips with, but it did have one bright spot-I got to go shopping for new clubs.
Summary: the diablo edge irons from callaway are in a word awesome. great feel and distance..the stock grips as you will read in other reviews are not ideal but that is the sole item that was a letdown. for any player who is a mid to high handicap these clubs will serve you well.
Summary: These clubs are not true hybrids as a set. They are only hybrids through the 5 iron, from there they are just typical irons as everyone makes. They used to make the Diablo/Edge in all clubs (through the 9 and I think the PW) but quit. Don't know why.
Summary: these clubs made me feel like i was actually a good golfer i took 7 strokes off my score once i started getting used to them also ive talked to very experienced golfers who say they like them better then there clubs only recommendation is get the 4-aw otherwise your screwed on 160 ish and longer but...
Summary: I am in my mid-20's and am new to the game of golf. Since golf is am expensive sport to start I was on the fence about whether or not to invest in a set of nice clubs or just get some cheap ones to start with. I feel like the Callaway Diablo's are the best of both worlds.
Summary: These irons went on to replace my old King Cobra irons of many years ago. They were good irons, but I was looking for more of the latest technology. These clubs did not disappoint. I got the 4-AW (I also ordered the 3 iron directly from Calloway).
