Best I've ever owned and the easiest to play. . .

Garvinstomp, Amazon
31 October 2014
  • Summary: Set reviewed: Callaway Diablo Edge Irons, Steel Uniflex Shaft, 4-AW Greetings all. This year I experienced a sad realization: That I was not as good of a golfer as I thought I was. This is not an easy thing to come to grips with, but it did have one bright spot-I got to go shopping for new clubs. My first set of serious clubs (many years ago) was a set of Ping Eye 2's. I played those for almost a decade before I felt like the technology had truly passed me by.

Not really Hybrids

Stephen A. Haley "stephenhaley", Amazon
21 July 2013
  • Summary: These clubs are not true hybrids as a set. They are only hybrids through the 5 iron, from there they are just typical irons as everyone makes. They used to make the Diablo/Edge in all clubs (through the 9 and I think the PW) but quit. Don't know why. There are some still out there but those with these rare high loft hybrids live by them and don't part ways.

Callaway Diablo Edge Irons

donnie, My Golf Club Reviews
22 August 2010
  • Summary: best damn set of clubs i have ever used and i have had at 8 sets before this one. i mean these just get up and go straight towards the target line. soft landing on the greens, you can work the ball a little too. i just dont play enough to get my handicap down but whenever i use these clubs i hit them just fine, better than the other sets. i would recommend these to any golfer looking for the perfect set of clubs.

Graphite Shafts - Great Irons!

Guy Owen, Amazon
12 May 2010
  • Summary: These are great Irons in every way! Easy to hit. Forgiving. No off-line crazy slices. Beautiful to look at. I own and use the Senior Flex Graphite. I also bought them with the Hybrid Set -- but, admittedly, do not hit the Hybrids very well for some reason. I've never liked a professional set as much as these Callaways -- except... well, a previous set of Callaways that I owned years ago. And I'm NOT a died-in-the-wool "Callaway fanboy".

Great Deal!

15handicap, Amazon
12 May 2010
  • Summary: I tried these clubs out at the PGA store and almost bought them for $699. I decided to check out Amazon for pricing and saw a used set for $347. The desciption read "like new" and man what an understatement. The clubs arrived on time and were still in the Callaway box with the plastic callway bags unopened on the clubs. I felt like a little kid at Christmas. I couldn't be more excited. New Callaway's for less than $400 bucks!

Excellent Clubs

Jawbone, Amazon
12 May 2010
  • Summary: I have been using these clubs for about two weeks now and found them to be, on average, 10-15 yards longer than the Mizuno regular shaft clubs I had been using. Being a senior golfer with a slower swing speed, the senior shaft clubs work very well for me. The clubs have a nice feel to them, and are forgiving on miss hits. I am very happy wih this purchase.

Calloway Edge are Excellent Clubs

Daniel S. Kass, Amazon
12 May 2010
  • Summary: I purchased the full set of Calloway Edge Irons including the 3 and 4 hybrid clubs. I do not have any of the fairway woods or the driver however, so I cannot comment on those. I have been playing golf for a number of years with a starter set and decided to spring for a quality set of improvement clubs. So far I am extremely pleased. My old set were graphite shafts and I decided to go with steel to help me get more accurate with distances.
