Callaway Diablo Edge irons - GI Mag review
16 July 2010
Excerpt: We first mentioned the new Callaway Diablo range in our Munich report, and having since raved about the metalwoods we've now had more time to test the irons. When debuting the original Diablo irons, two years ago, Callaway tested the water with a Europe-only launch which proved so successful that this impressive follow-up is for global consumption.
Summary: I just bought the diablo irons and took them to the range and hit the 8 and my old 990 titilist. I hit half with both clubs and the diablo was about 10 yds longer and a lot straighter. Even fat and thin hits were twice as good with the diablo. The ball jumps off the club like magic I couldn't believe it. Never hit clubs like this before and would reccomend them to anyone.
Summary: I've played these clubs for two weeks now and they are the best Irons I've ever hit. I'm a 15-18 handicap player and have used X-12, X-16 and FT Callaway Irons before. My usual fat hits are now solid flush hits and I'm gaining more confidence every time I play with them.
