The very best driver I have ever held in my hands. I was skeptical of the King of Distance billing, but boy did it prove me wrong.

Excerpt: The hyper speed face and the core adjustment is the most amazing technology I have experience. The mitsubishi shaft is more whippier than I like, but once I sync my swing with the shaft performance I experienced significant distance gains.
Excerpt: I work in a golf store and had the opportunity to test these drivers and fairway clubs before they were launched and I brought my XHOT clubs to compare, well there was no comparison as the Bertha's were 10 to 15 yds. longer. the shaft is a great addition to the new technology. I think if you try these clubs you will be glad you did.
Excerpt: This big bertha line is truly one sexy gal. The driver and wood have changed how I play the game. This fairway metal is classic and forward thinking at the same time. Amazing stock shaft, super thin face that bombs it farther than any of my past fairway metals and club itself just oozes beauty. When the crown is perfectly in the sunlight it is the most gorgeous club on the planet. I have gained 10-15 yards as well since switching to this from taylormade RBZ 3 wood.
Conclusion: I'm surprised to see not one review for these fairway clubs even though it maybe outdated (10+ years),thought for sure some kind of reviews. I really wasn't in the market for another club UNLESS it would be a back up for my LYNX 5 wood (travel set).I just happened to be in Seal Beach, popped into Roger Dunn. LARGE BAG of Woods when I entered the store, marked $9.99 PLUS additional 30% off. REALLY?
Summary: I had given up my Great Big Bertha II three wood years ago and upgraded several times. I didn't experience anything comparable and was fortunate enough to find it again on eBay. I opted for the most expensive choice and am glad that I did. It is in excellent condition. I had to replace the grip but that was no big deal. It is the best three wood that I have ever used and it will be staying in my bag forever more.
Summary: I bought this club when I was just starting back up for the first time in over 10 years. I was never that good and pretty much had to relearn my swing. Like most, I had a terrible slice, so bought a "draw" club to help. It did. Now that I am getting better, the balls are going straighter and actually starting to draw, but because of the draw setup (and evening out a slice), you do lose distance.
