Golf Driver Reviews of the Callaway Big Bertha 460
25 February 2009
Summary: Callaway calls this the "World's Friendliest Driver" and there's no doubt the Big Bertha series has given a lot of love to golfers for many years. This Driver has a tradition of forgiveness for shots that don't come out of the middle. This was certainly the case during our tests, which showed that shots hit off-center didn't spin as much as some other drivers while achieving a reasonable distance. Shots hit out of the middle were straight and long.
Summary: I just bought the 2007 Callaway Big Bertha with adila nvs regular shaft, with 10 degrees loft. I went to the range 2 times and played 2 rounds at Marine Park. Wow!!! This club is amazing. I gained 15 yards instantly and the mis-hits go straight and far. I tried Cleveland TI 460 Launcher, Taylor Made R7, and the FT-3 before I decided on the big bertha. I am very happy with the forgiveness and distance I get from this club.
