Summary: I bought this set because I like the configuration. I also liked the idea of graphite shafts with forged heads and boy do they feel soft !! No problem with distance. These are forgiving also. Forged does not have to be a scary word anymore. There are many forgiving forged irons available today.
Great clubs if you want to move away from game improvement irons
2 October 2012
Summary: The Combo design is more forgiving in the long irons allowing for decent ball flight on slightly mishit shots. However, do note that these clubs still require a very consistent ball strike. These are not for the high handicapper but when you hit them in the sweet spot you don't even feel the ball coming off the face. I bought the clubs thinking I was ready for them. I played a lot of golf this year and was consistently shooting low to mid 80's.
Summary: One of my all time favorites...I really like the smaller size and shape. If I had one driver to play for the rest of my life, this would be the one...I personally believe that 380cc heads are the perfect size, they are much easier to square up at contact than the larger 460 heads and the head is still large enough for forgivness.
Summary: I am a near scratch golfer ffor whom long irons are still a bit of an adventure. In addition to my driver and my 3 metal, I have had an 18 degree hybrid in the bag for some time (taking the place of either a 5 metal or a 2 iron). It is a Precept 2-EZ and I love it, as I can hit it between 210 and 235 yards, with it's natural distance for me being 220- 225.
An unforgiving beauty. If you're on, you'll love it.

Summary: Beautiful and classic. 375cc. Hot face with great feel and muted sound. You need to hit it between the middle "V" for it to really perform so if you're looking for forgiveness, look elsewhere. It's got a shallower face than the J33R 420 and 460 along with a little higher launch and spin. The J33R is ultra LOW launch and spin, so this may help more than it hurts.
Bridgestone Precept J33 Hybrid Fairway Wood Golf Club
11 October 2010
Summary: This club and shaft(Aldila NV Hybrid) is a great combination and has increased my consistency. It seems to favor a slight fade which is ok because my last hybrid (Nike CPR 18*) had a tendency to hook/pull on me and left me with no confidence. I now have a worry free club that gets me home in two on par 5's. Bridgestone clubs seem to fly under the radar (I also have the J33 Driver) but they are as good if not better than what your local golf shop has on the shelves.
Summary: The seller was very responsive and helpful. I asked for additional photos recieved an email with those additional photos. The clubs are just as he described in beautiful shape and in tact. Shipping was a touch slow but all in all was a very pleasant and enjoyable purchase.
Summary: I really wanted to get a hybrid. Since I loved bridgestone I decided that this purchase was excellent. I decided to buy it because I needed to get a new hybrid. I am really happy with this purchase.
