Stupid new golfer pays too much for his clubs -what's new?

Summary: OK. New golfer and bought nice new Adams clubs thinking it would make my drives go further and straighter. Didn't work, so I take a star away. :-) Well...nice buy actually...got a really good deal on Adams irons on Amazon and decided to get Speedlines for 3 and 5 woods, and also got this matching Adams do-whacker - that still doesn't do-whack very straight for me - and the only thing I don't like is that I ended up missing an Adams sand wedge in the buys..
Summary: Bought this driver elsewhere for around $100. At this price, it is a steal for a fixed-hosel (non-adjustable) driver. I have been playing a Adams XTD 3 wood as my driver because of my inconsistently and slice. Didn't think I was giving up much with 250 yrds or so with my 3. However, with prices plummeting for non-adjustable drivers, I went out to get the RBZ stage 1. At the big box, hit the Adams better and father on their set-up. BIG DIFFERENCE!.
Summary: Great set. The bag broke the first day in two places while my daughter was playing. The part that fits like a backpack is not well made for walking the course. The clubs are great and other than the break the bag is good. Amazon sent us a new set to trade out the bag.
Summary: gift for my husband, his first REAL set, and he was extremely happy with it. the clubs are durable and he says they're great to hit with. he's not too fond of the driver but that's mainly because he already had one he was used to.
