Conclusion: The new 2011 Adams Idea Black CB2 Irons are a class act all the way. Adams continually releases technically advanced irons that keeps them at the top of new iron selections.
Pros: The progressive offset and four-cambered is definitely the highlight of the Idea Black CB2 irons. An excellent feel iron with great trajectory. Great shaft selection: Matrix Studio 84 Graphite or the Steel KBS Tour 90.
Cons: Absent hybrid iron in the set, almost a must for game-improvement irons.
Summary: I used to swing the Adams Idea Clubs from about 4 years ago, the half Cavity Backed cast irons, and Fatback 5,6 Hybrid 3,4....They were good clubs and I enjoyed them, but as my handicap improved I found that the design of the older clubs was starting to negatively affect my score. These clubs are much more deliberate then the previous models. They are accurate, and I have not hit a greatly errant shot with them yet, as far as Left to Right.
