Summary: good set of older clubs..still very playable and the price was right This set has some time on it but it is a great starter set for that person who is looking for high tech equiptment at a reasonalbe price..
Summary: I only tried the 7 iron through the PW. I didn't think much of the clubs and after 2 rounds I mentioned to a guy I was playing with that I had just bought some new used clubs on e-bay, but I was going to sell them. He asked to try them and loved 'em, including the hybrids (4-6)that I never tried. I sold them to him. As far as the 7-W, I hit my Wilson ci7 better. I never tried the 4-6 iron hybrids. The good rating is because my friend loved the clubs.
Summary: I originally had a set of blades that were given to me. Friends told me to get some game improvement irons. I played nearly every brand out there. I settled on the Adams because I hit them straight and mostly accurate. I have people trying to borrow my irons. Great.
Summary: I like my Adams a3 irons due to the wide sole and lower center of gravity. I did'nt like the steel shafts due to the weight. I replaced the Adams shafts with uniflex steel shafts that were much lighter. It made a big difference to me with my swing. I" I'm a super senior with a swing speed around 75 mph. The lighter shafts helped me to hit the ball much further and on line. The hybrids are another matter. I need much more practice to get use to the wide club head.
Summary: It is a bit "experienced" but wow, it sure does hit well! Helped me drop 10 strokes in my game! The club was very reasonable and it will stay in my bag for LONG TIME. I hope to find more like this, eBay sureis a great place to find the clubs you'd like to try.
Summary: These clubs don't disappoint. Played them for the first time tonight. They took a little time to get the feel. Love the grips, they help you to hold on. Hit a few mishots off the the toe and had a great hit every time (same distance with a lower flight. Hit one shot with the 4 hybrid iron that sounded like a rocket. I'm not sure that I will get more distance than with my old set but they feel like they will be more forgiving.
Summary: Its been over 10 years sinse the last time I picked up a club and I figured I would pick these up because they are talked about as being very forgiving. They were right, or i'm just gifted, I figure its the clubs. I have never used a hybrid before and it took a little getting used to as I tried to play them as if they were fairway woods but once I started playing them as irons I started cracking them with ease.
Summary: There are a very good set for people who want less offset in a game improvement set than the OS series. You have to swing easy as the shafts are fairly low torque - too soft from me. I switched to the A7's with the UST shafts. Much stiffer and give me a much narrower dispersion pattern.
Summary: I wanted "new technology". Was playing reasonably with older clubs. I love the new hybred irons. This set came with hbred 6/7/8 hyred irons. The 9 and P are cavity back. Wish they had supplied the 9 as a hybred iron. The set also has 3/4/5 hybreds. They are easy to hit but I got much more distance from the same loft fairway wood. So I have put away the hybreds and will probably try to sell them on e-bay but do love the irons. They go further and the ball really stops.
