Excerpt: I have played PRO V-1 for years. Loved them. High ball flight which helps amateurs stop the ball quickly on the green. The new ball is longer because the trajectory is now lower. I was not impressed with the new ball. I'm not a pro or scratch golfer, so I will try some other golf balls for the first time in years.
Conclusion: I can't be the only person who shreds the covers on ProV1s can I? One full wedge or short iron, and the ball is done. Yes, my clubs are c-c, and no, this doesn't happen with TMade TP5, B330 or B330RX.
Conclusion: Isn’t it exciting to get a new set of clubs. I have found that not only the club, but the shaft can make a major difference and with shafts that suit your swing, your new clubs will be fantastic. I have found the new Pro V1, to be very good around the greens, but about 10 to 20 yards shorter then their other balls. Depends on what you want, distance or stopping ability.
