Conclusion: Golfsmith had a two dozen for $25 special. This is a good lower end ball. Durable, lower spin. I like the feel off the driver and longer shots. The main negative is that on hard, fast greens, it is tougher than usual to stop the ball and I don't get a great "feel" on touch shots.
Summary: I've been playing golf for 10 years on and off. Have always struggled to putt online and to drive straight. Never worried about what ball I was playing until now. Just purchased the Callaway Warbird PLUS balls as they were at sale price. Have just played two rounds with the PLUS, first was an 84 and second was a 76. After 36 holes I am motivated to say I care about what ball I hit now.
Conclusion: I’m a 2 handicap, and these are the best balls I have ever played. Having been a pro v1 advocate for years, I was pleasently suprised when after receiving a box of warbirds for christmas, I found my overall game, off the tee and around the greens, a lot longer and softer on landing generating great spin and boring flight.
Conclusion: I'm always skeptical about promos that say "these will fly" well this time they did!! Bought these at $29.95 from my local shop (Albany WA) and what a great purchase it was. I normally hit 230 ish with a driver yet I landed 3 drives today beyond 250 with these balls. Ok so what about control I hear you ask. Not bad at all, I landed my Wilson staff 3 hybrid and stopped from 175 meters. Also spun it back 2 feet with 7 iron on 2 par 3's.
