Shoots in the 70s

Will, GolfReview.com

  • Summary: Recently bought a dozen of these and I must say I am very impressed with this balls performance. Plenty of distance with next to no side spin with the driver, but at the same time could generate a lot of back spin with my short irons and wedges, very stable in the wind and felt very nice off of the...

  • Summary: An oldie but a goodie! I bought this Callaway stainless 3 wood (2004 model)on a whim to match my Callaway driver & couldn't be more surprised! This wood delivers a great ball flight and averages about 230-250 on the driving range for me.

  • Summary: last year I bought the 2004 Big berthas with Graphite Shafts. The irons I had before were Nike CPR. The Big berthas are very forgiving and are easy to hit. They are ten times better than the nikes.

  • Summary: Really hard to say as a DEAD amateur, but as I said, the shaft seems 'wobbly' to me. Would like a bit stiffer shaft and perhaps a head with less 'depth' (I catch the ground a lot) All in all good honestly, just wouldnt mind a club a bit more suited to my style.
  • Pros: Large head, seems to be forgiving.
  • Cons: The shaft seems a bit'wobbly', and albeit Im sure it is me and not the club, sllicing tends to be an issue more with my driver than my irons.

  • Summary: Everybody should try Big Berthas. I believe they are good for every non-single handicapped player.
  • Pros: These clubs are simply amazing. They don't feel the same as the DCI's but are far more forgiving and sound perfect. With graphite shafts I'm now able to hit extreme distances with sufficient accuracy.
  • Cons: Lack of feeling. Especially the short approach irons are not so good because of the relatively lousy distance and spin control.

  • Summary: If you want to enjoy the game and lower your score get one, actually i would pay twice the amount for it now to replace. try one and you'll know.
  • Pros: The irons feel great, and offer some workability, which means, the rest of the time it just hit high and stright. I switch from graphite shaft-c-9 swingweight to steel, and I did not loose any distance, infact I hit the ball higher and straighter. Iron game has always been my problem and I had to...
  • Cons: It took a while to get use to the look of the club. it seem big. working the ball required extra effort, because the ball want to straight...well i don't know if that's a bad thing.

  • Summary: If you love to play golf, and want to be the best you can be, I suggest that you at least try a set of these immediately,
  • Pros: I have had my set for 2 months now, and I still have never hit irons that felt so pure. These irons have given me the confidence I have lacked for years in my iron play. I have found that the new 2002 Big Bertha irons are very forgiving, and as a added bonus, are very long (I have had to use one ...

  • Summary: The first time contact I had with Big Bertha balls was the Big Bertha Blue. I found that the balls hit better and longer than my old Nike PowerFlight balls. I loved the blues so I decided to try out the reds. They are an incredible ball.
