B330-S

  • Conclusion: I compared this ball against the Pro V1x that I usually play. I thought this ball was a little harder and not quite as long off the tee. Doesn't spin as much using approach irons. The ball is more durable, at least it didn't look as scuffed up after 1 round as the Pro V1x.

  • Summary: This is in response to the gentleman below who was complaining about loss of distance with this ball. The B330 has been designed for the fastest swings, typically 110 or even 115mph and more.

Shoots in the 70s

  • Summary: Took the Bridgestone challenge at the Stanford St. Jude tournament this year. They had a booth set up, so I took a few swings. I used their driver, which was nowhere near the same setup as my own, and hit in front of about 50 people watching, so needless to say the test conditions weren't the best.

  • Summary: I bought 70 of these used but mint on ebay. I had been using Hogan Tour Deeps but wanted to try something different. I prefer to save money but play expensive balls. First round out I made an eagle on a par four. That was luck, but I am happy with these balls.

Bridgestone Tour B330 Ball

BKD, My Golf Club Reviews
10 February 2007
  • Summary: The perfect ball for my game. Distance is better than ProV1 with better feel and workability. Feel around the green is much enhanced, very responsive. Putts are a pure joy. A must try for any serious tournament golfer and any golfer looking for a ball that's got it all.

  • Summary: Found a B330 while playing and hit a couple of tee shots and mid irons and was intrigued. Played following round with PROV1 on front 9 and B330 on the back. B330 carried 10-15 yards further off the tee, irons (carry, control and spin) was not noticeably different.

  • Summary: Tried a sleave of these the other weekend and was surpised at the durability of these balls. The B330 I hear is easily torn up by the end of a round but this S version is amazingly tough. Hardly a mark on it after 18 and looks new!

Shoots in the 70s

4 March 2006
  • Summary: This is a hard golf ball. I have a swing speed between 102-107 mph with the driver and this ball really goes. I hit a couple out there near 300 yards. It performs well into and around the greens also (spins surprisingly well considering the hard feel), but ultimately I decided this ball was just too...
