Excerpt: i played this product, after being fitted for it, and it is amazing. i use pro v 1x but after using this ball i wont go back. i gained about 5 yards from the pro v 1x and found myself controlling the spin better with the new bridgestone than with the pro v 1x. the ball is soft but doesnt give you a feeling of hitting a marshmallow which is nice. the ball has no problem cutting through the wind and holding it's line perfectly.
Summary: I have been using these balls for over 2 years now and I have been very impressed with all the main features a tour ball should give you. The distance off the tee is very good, I am not going to tell you it added 50 yards distance etc. but it gives a nice flight without too much spin and I still get good roll at the end. I can move the ball well with my irons and the stopping power around the green is excellent. I also get great feel off my putter.
Summary: I hit the ball about 260 off the tee. Not sure what that is in SS. I've played this and the 300, too hard, and the 330RX. RX didn't check and stop as well. The B330S is w/o a doubt my favorite ball on the market. The massive price tag is an absolute downer, but now that I'm not losing balls it helps ease the wallet pain. I do like the free hats, wind shirts and such for using their balls.
Conclusion: This ball seems most comparable to Pro-V1x and Srixon's XV. It putts softer than both these balls, but not as soft as the original Pro V1, giving more of a soft thud that a ting I feel from Pro V1x and Srixon's XV. Iron shots come off of the club soft and provide plenty of stopping power and control around the greens. Distance feels about the same as any high end spinning tour ball.
Conclusion: My swing speend average around 107. I was previously playing the E6. I had several worthy skeptics (old dudes who know what they are talking about!) suggest that I switch to the 330's because of my swing speed. They said I would loose that dreaded side spin off my driver that sometimes kept me right off the tee. I was also told that from 150 yards in, I would get the spin I needed to gain more control around the green.
Summary: I hit driver about 270. Whether that makes my swing speed unsuitable for the B300S, dont know, but I found them hard as a rock, especially off the driver face and not particulary durable or responsive to spin. Will not be using them again.
Summary: Just started using these and I'm very impressed. Good feel off the putter and they 'drop and stop' very well. I lose about 20 yards off the driver compared to a distance ball, but the feel off my irons is great and that has led to more GIR. Good durability too. The ball has helped me move up to the next level, and the three rounds I've played with this ball have been in the 70's. Try them if you can.
Summary: I played ProV1x, Nike One Platinum, Srixon, Callaway...this ball performs as well if not beeter than all of them. Ball explodes off driver without too much spin. I get great spin from short irons and feel around greens. I love putting with this ball the best...holds its line great and has a solid feel on the putter face. I would highly recommend trying it...I can almost guarantee that you won't see any diff from the ProV1 except for saving a few bucks/dozen.
