Summary: This shreader has been used on hedges of different types and seems to cope with the demands with no problems. Keep an eye on the storage container as this fills up quickly & can clog up the blades if not emptied.
Summary: If you have never used a rotary drum cutter shredder before, you may be extremely impressed by how little noise they make and how thick a chunk of wood they can chop up. Their down side is stringy thinner bits that they may fail to chop and you have to carefully make sure that the chopped material...
shredding not so good, larger branches tend to come out joined together

Summary: Powerful yes, shredding not so good, larger branches tend to come out joined together, very heavy to move around , if the wheels were spaced apart by another 6" might help it tipping over when moving it on grass the addition of 2 wheels on the front with locking would be very helpful, I think its a...
Summary: Basically a good tool with 2 'but's' pulling the overall score down 1 - it is quite poorly balanced for moving around, having a tendency to tip over quite easily when being pulled along - this is a weighty item to find it doing its own thing!
Summary: Have only used this shredder a couple of times so far - I only took delivery a couple of weeks ago, I am very impressed with it, as I have been with all Bosch tools I have bought over the years. The AXT 25 D certainly does all I require of a shredder, e.g. small pruned branches and bushes.
only good for thick branches poor for everything else
21 October 2014
Summary: I received this shredder a bit awkward to assemble when i got round to road testing it i have to say i was very unhappy with its performance if you require a shredder for chopping thick branches its ideal for smaller wood such as rose prunings which is the reason why i bought it it is no good what...
Summary: Was tempted to buy a cheaper shredder from a different manufacturer after becoming disillusioned with other Bosch power tools failing prematurely. However, after reading reviews, and advice from Freds shed, I bought the AXT 25D.
the manual is totally useless, it then would not work
28 August 2014
Summary: Having finally managed to assemble it without it making a noise, the manual is totally useless, it then would not work. I eventually telephoned Bosch who said an engineer would call me. After three hours and no call. I went out. A week later I tried again but this time Bosch told me to return it.
Summary: Great piece of kit for the money. Good build quality as you would expect from Bosch and deals with most garden cuttings. I think it works best with woody waste from cutting back hedges and trees etc. e.g. dealt brilliantly with all the trimmings from cutting 15ft off an overgrown laurel

Summary: A fairly quiet machine which does a good job of reducing woody material to a much more manageable size, although some twigs need to be fed through a second time. Draws the material into the cutter very effectively.
