Summary: I toyed with getting a corded one- glad i didnt. Didn't have to buy an RCD or long extension lead- wouln't feel safe with a lead trailing about. This is light and easy to use. The battery lasts well. I used it for about 45 mins and it was still going strong. OH yes you get 2 batteries with this bundle ( they are not cheap- so i sold one on ebay!) Cut thro a thick hedge very easily. Happy.
Summary: Bought this as the guy who normally cuts the grass and hedges no longer around. I have used it twice so far and my hedges 6ft high x 36ft long and have to do both sides and top and so far the battery has lasted both cuts. Excellent and the spare battery still in box. Highly recommended.
Summary: I bought this Bosch cordless hedgecutter for occasional use in trimming two hedges which are dense with fairly tough branches. As I see it these are the pros and cons of the Bosch AHS 52 cordless hedgecutter; Pros - It's very well made and balanced - not too heavy and even someone who isn't particularly strong could handle it safely.

Conclusion: Really pleased with this bosch Hedge Trimmer. I went for the cordless one due to the fact that I was fed up lugging loads of cable around. This certainly has helped. It also light and I like the fact that it comes with 2 years guarantee.
Summary: Having been the owner and user of a variety of hedge trimmers, I had always resisted buying battery models until now. As far as I am concerned the purchase via Amazon of A Bosch AHS 52 Cordless Hedgecutter has proved to be the best hedge cutter that I have ever used. With some 200 plus yards of hedge to cut the Bosch with its two batteries has shown a clean pair of heels to the opposition with a lot less effort.
Summary: This is typical Bosch, I was miffed when the gardener lady used it first as it's just one of the most rewarding gardening tools. Unselfishly the 2 batteries also work in my drill/driver so i have up to a potential 5 batteries (too many unless you are a pro). if you get the chance buy Bosch blue (professional) rather than green; always go for rechargeable garden products to avoid mrssy cablrs.
Summary: Getting this on Amazon allowed us to have the model with the slightly longer blade, compared to in-store prices. It's very useful to have two batteries and so far the battery life has been good. With two batteries I can work until I get fed up with the job in hand and want to go off being busy doing nothing for a while. The real test for the batteries I imagine will be when the unit sits around unused for some months during the winter.
