One of the best X-Men games

Bill, amazon.co.uk
4 March 2013
  • Summary: Without doubt, this is one of my most favourite X-Men games. Certainly much better than some of the other games that have come out like X-Men Destiny. Definitely worth a look for any Marvel fan out there. The gameplay is similar to other rpg dungeon-crawler games like Baldur's Gate, except with X-Men characters. If you have seen or played Marvel Ultimate Alliance or its sequel, then you probably already know what to expect.

Basic, but near flawless.

Amazon Customer, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Let me start off with the games main flaw. Its far too simple. You simply dash along through sewers, streets and the weapon x facility demolishing EVERYTHING that gets in your way till you reach your objective point. As your characters gain more experience, you get ability points to use making them stronger as the game progresses...

X-Men fun all the way

"christ1000", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Without a doubt, the best X-men game that there is. Possibly the best superhero game (although I haven't played the new spiderman one) of all. The game is so easy to play and so much fun. You get to play all the comic favourites, and although there are a few places where a specific mutant is required, you can pretty much do each mission with whatever mutant you like (although you could almost complete every non-mutant-specific mission with Wolverine on his own).

Puts the "Super" in "Superhero!"

Gary Hilton "ursinebrute", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: The best thing about being a superhero is being, well, super. You know, X ray vision, leaping tall buildings in a single bound, that sort of thing. But another important factor often overlooked is the teamwork - after all, we've all heard of Dynamic Duo's & Fantastic Fours, so it is great that X-Men Legends captures this so well !! Legends captures the camaraderie largely in the gameplay.

Not the best game ever, but the best X-Men game ever

Peter J. Gasston, amazon.co.uk
25 October 2004
  • Summary: Very much in the same vein as Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (or Diablo, or even, further back, Gauntlet) this is a bash/shoot-em-up with RPG trappings. It uses all the main and most popular X-Men, as well as introducing a new character in the main story mode. The enemies you face throughout the game aren't that powerful but come in huge numbers, meaning that battles become extremely frenetic.

Xmen Legends, Revoutionises the Xmen World Forever. 4.5

"craigjakson04", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Xmen Legends is going to be the newest and best edition in the Xmen saga to date. Gamplay is completely different as it is not a beat 'em up, it is a 3D four person interchangable RPG game. You can control up to four people from the classic cartoon style xmen comics. You get Gean gray, Cyclops, Wolverene, Storm, Gambit (hurraah),iceman, colossus to name but a few. you can seemlessly change between them at any time. The graphics are amazing with destroyable back groungs.
