    To encapsulate, THQ has improved upon WrestleMania X8 with more moves, more reversals, the “wow” factor, and more. However, the main mode of the game, Revenge, hardly seems worth the time. Nevertheless, the compensatory create-a-wrestler feature and modes like Hell in a Cell, Tables Ladders and Chairs and cage matches round off a fun game. In the end, it’s safe to say that next year’s installment should be excellent at this rate. Read more

    The Italian Job is by no means a bad game. Whilst playing through the story mode it is - despite areas of frustration - a fun ride. Unfortunately the game suffers from a big lack of polish in areas and had a little more time been put in to the game to polish it up then it would have achieved a higher rating.     In the past 12 months, it’s safe to say that the WWE has taken a few dropkicks to the head. While diehard fans will argue that the product is even better, the ratings are down and poor Vince McMahon even fell off Forbes’ List of Richest Americans.     I just got this game and i am returning it since its complete pants, the 1 player game is soo borring, the control system tries to copy No Mercy but fails so its no fun in 2 player mode either since a well timed reversal will ALWAYS reverse no matter how bad a beating you have taken. another rubbish game by yukes, please just bring back AKI!!.     This is very similar to the first wrestlemania game for the gamecube to but it's much better in my opinion. The controls are much easier now because doing strong and weak grapples is performed depending on how long you hold the control buttons. Also the graphics are now much better, because the wrestlers more like their real life counterparts. You'll also notice that the wrestlers move much faster than ithe previous wrestlemania game, but still much slower than the PS/2... Read more
