  • Summary: I thought this game was going to be great because wario is in the mario series and mario games are great so this was really bad. Bad gameplay and lasting appeal. pretty decent graphics and sound though. MAYBE WORTH THE MONEY DEPENDING ON WHAT KIND OF GAMER YOU ARE.

Yellow and purple don't look good together

  • Summary: WarioWorld is not a game anybody expected or wanted, and doesn't fit the expectations. A very new title for the gameqube, and is very different. Horrible sounds, gameplay's alright, and everything else is frushtrating. Not enough levels, too many enemies in each level, and really hard, even for me, and I'm 12 years old!!!!!!!! Rent it before thinking about wasting a good 10 bucks.

User Review

  • Summary: I looked forward to this game arriving from GameFly but let it sit for 2 months before playing. Two days after popping it in the GameCube it was on its way back. I love Mario games and many of the cool little niche games exclusive to the GameCube but this one just didnt do it for me. It looks beautiful and the gameplay is simple enough but what really turned me off was the static camera. I can't stand not being able to take in the entire environment.

Wario's first big screen adventure is smaller than his small screen ones... WHA!?

  • Summary: Super uber ultra fun while it lasts. But on the flipside it's super uber ultra short. If you can stand having a love-hate relationship then this is for you.
  • Pros: Decent graphics, nice music, good control, hella fun
  • Cons: Way way way WAY WAY WAY... WAY too short, no significant extras

Wario World: "Have a Rotten Day!"

Slusy, epinions.com
29 June 2003
  • Summary: Wario World is an excellent choice for a rental, but at 6 to 10 hours, doesn't provide enough play value to justify the $50 price tag.
  • Pros: Excellent gameplay and a lot of fun, while it lasts
  • Cons: Too short, gets repetitive toward the end

*Wario Shines But Soon Fades Away*

Devil_Trigger, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: The Plot: Wario tears his way onto the Gamecube with his debut title. The story tells itself as Wario's typical greed lead him into stealing the 'infamous' black jewel. Because of the evil that is the black jewel it manages to turn Wario's hoards of treasure into ugly monsters. Yes... you heard it, Wario's treasure transforms into monsters of all sizes!

Viel zu teuer

  • Summary: Allgemein ============== "Wario World" kennt sicherlich jeder von "Mario", bzw. Nintendo.
