Excerpt: Virtual Striker as one of only a handful of footballing games available on the gamecube had a lot to live up to. In the haze that was Japan/Korea 2002 I belatedly decided to purchase a footballing title for Gamecube and plumped for this. Worst mistake of my life.... Developed by sega and co, this title is little more than a poor arcade rehash making little or no use of the gamecubes full potential.
Excerpt: The first time I played this I thought it was one of the worst games ever. As I played it more and more I was more impressed. Its really just your normal football game but improved. It has the international league, all the cups (international, euro, African etc). it has the official licence so you can get on with the game and recognise the players easily instead of spending a few hours changing the names.
