An Okay Game for Hardcore Shooter Gamers

DzPoNcE11 , GameStop
24 February 2011
  • Summary: Ghost Recon is an okay game overall. The Campaign is very complicated and consists of other soldiers with the exact same voice, and complicated tasks. The Firefight mode is pretty fun with a survival type touch. The multiplayer is just HORRIFIC!!! The split screen is just dull due to that no one else is on the map and you respawn in the same places. And Co-Op Campaign is bad also.

Worst... Game... Ever

  • Summary: Well, its not so much the game. The graphics on Nintendo Gamecube are really dissapointing, it looks like a port from a PS1 game. It's all squashed in multiplayer and looks incredibly cheap and rushed. Buy this game for Xbox (don't have an xbox? Get one!) you won't be dissapointed with the Xbox version. It kicks ass. As do all of the Xbox games around. Amazing graphics and multiplayer. Just avoid the gamecube version. You'll regret buying it....

ANOTHER SUCCESS FOR THE TOM CLANCY SERIES!!!!!

  • Summary: HAVING PLAYED AND BEEN A BIG FAN OF PREVOUS TOM CLANCY GAMES ON THE PC I HAVE TO SAY THIS NO DISAPPOINTMENT. THE GRAPHICS IN THE GAME ARE EXCELLENT AND SO IS THE GAMEPLAY. IT'S A GAME ONCE YOU START YOU WILL WANT TO PLAY THROUGH TO A FINISH. HOWEVER WHERE THE PC IN PREVIOUS GAMES HAD THREE TEAMS THE GC VERSION ONLY CATERS FOR TWO TEAMS WHICH CAN BE RESTRICTIVE BUT STILL VERY ENJOYABLE.

Ghost Recon

15 April 2003
  • Summary: Ghost Recon is an incredibly realistic war simulator. It combines great gameplay with near to life reality. There are a total of 15 missions ranging from Georgia to the streets of Moscow. On each of these misions you will be asked to carry out 4 objectives (4th is optional on levels 1-12, in doing these optional objectives you will receive a specialist each time-look out for Nigel Tunney).

Cover Me! I'm Going In

  • Summary: You crawl under a tree, take cover behind a patch of shrubery, zoom in wtih your rifle and take out perimeter gaurds without them even knowing you exist. Welcome to the world of Ghost Recon. Before you can even attempt such risky moves as above, you'll need to hone your skills in training and tactical excercises. It takes a while to adjust to the fact that after being hit thrice, twice or even once you are dead, and this is just easy mode.

Tom Clancy : Gamecube nightmare.

"joe23470", amazon.co.uk
23 March 2003
  • Summary: When I played on my American import of Tom Clancy : Ghost recon, I was genuinely excited by the prospect of playing on the Gamecube version of game series so renowned on the ps2 and pc. I thought that this game would turn out to be a Gamecube must have. As I turned on my Gamecube, I sensed a great sense of anticipation, but ten minutes later I discovered that this game is a shadow of any Tom Clancy game, on any other platform.

This is an average shooter with a bit of a zing

"jetfire90", amazon.co.uk
15 March 2003
  • Summary: This game on the gamecube is not as good on the pc or ps2 but is still a very good game. What lets it down is its rubbish AI (Artificial Intelligence) and from a distance the enemies are poorly made up, it looks like they are made up of big blocks rather than small polygons. But apart from that, the game is well detailed, has a good commander system, allowing you to change between members of the squads, and move them to different points on the map, which are all really...
