Summary: OK,firstly i read the review in Cube, and i preped my self for this,it was apparently the 'next Goldeneye',well it is like Goldeneye, but no where near as revoulutionary. The Graphics are very mixed, in the story mode they are average, but in the arcademode they can be quite frankly beautiful, but it say 2 player you can see that the system is struggling, because the graphics seriously suffer, in 4 player like playing on a damn PS2.
Summary: I love FPS and loved Perfect dark and goldeneye on the N64 so when I got a gamecube I decided to rent, thank-god, Timesplitters 2. When I started playing on it it was a complete let down. First thing I went on was multiplayer but with apsolutely no auto-aim and aiming where you have to dodgily move the c-stick up and down where, might I add, it moves to fast, it basically is poop.
Summary: Perhaps it's slightly presumptious of me to pass judgement on a game I've only had for three days, but really. Come on. I mean, what the hell? It's not that TimeSplitters 2 is bad, it's just MUNDANE. The new story mode is mared with let downs - there are some genuinely clever characters and scenarios wasted by the lazy level design. The multiplayer - obviously the main focus of the series - is undoubtably fun, but also undoubtably GoldenEye.
Summary: I bought this game almost (I say ALMOST) entirely from the media hype surrounding this game. What a dunce. I must be missing something here as this game is far from the "near perfect" FPS I was expecting. The graphics are far from brilliant; a further typical example of yet another game coded as to accomodate the inferior PS2 (which I owned up to 4 months ago). The audio fares slightly better, coming out in nice surround sound on my system.
