Summary: The Sims is an awesome game. I really don't even know which part I like best - playing the story mode, or just building my own house and decorating it from scratch! My friends and I always thought it was funny trapping a sim inside a custom made room, then replacing the door with a sheet of wall so they cannot get out lol. The possibilities are endless...swimming, cooking, ordering pizza, maintaining your job, making and keeping friends.
Summary: The Sims is a fantastic concept, in which the lives of computerised people are controlled by the user in a god-like fashion. Every single aspect of their lives is up for control, be it their job, home or family. Whilst there are some drawbacks to the game (there is no weekend, though it is ok to miss one day of work) the game will last months since there is esentially unlimited replay value.
Summary: Heh, I used to be so addicted to the SIMS. I think it's a power thing. I like the idea of controling another persons life. ;) The thing about SIMs that is up for debate on whether or not you like it is surrealistic adventure or altering everyday life. Half the people I asked say they hated it because they thought it was painfully boring. You don't kill anybody and you don't "get anywhere". Yes, in SIM's, technically, you don't have guns and go out and kill people.
Summary: Hey everyone! My little brother has this game also. I thought that I wouldn't like it because I'm not a game kind of girl. I was very wrong. I love that game SO much, whenever I'm bored and I need to pass time I play that. It's addicting though. I played it for about 2 hours one time and when I was finished it felt like I had to put my priorities in order such as; go to the bathroom, have a snack then watch tv. I like the game though!
Summary: Of all the games I've ever played or owned this has got to be one of my favourites. It requires good time management, long-term planning and occasional feats of the ridiculous to get anywhere! It's an incredibly fun game and has lots of different choices of play. For example, it is up to you to decide what career you want to have and then get yourself promoted or choose your future husband or wife.
Excerpt: "...and weeks completely absorbed by The Sims on the PC, I was more than a little excited to see it come out on the Gamecube. Now, I will be able to play from the comfort of my sofa rather than a chair in my office. Hurrah! For those of you who have never played The Sims, the best way to describe it is that you play God over the lives of a family or group of people ("Sims"). You start out as a single man or woman in a small house, in which you go to ...
Excerpt: "The console version of The sims has burts into the Land of Gamecube, and I for one, am very glad about that! For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Sims (if there are any of you left!), this a great introduction into the competely and utterly absorbing world. Essentially, you get to create and control an unsuspecting family of Sims, and from then on in it is your resonsibility to ensure they lead a happy and well balanced lifestyle (of unhonesty ...
