The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction Review
27 October 2005
Excerpt: If ever there was a game that played just as you'd imagine it's The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. The Incredible Hulk is known for his amazing strength and the ability to let nothing stand in his way, and the game just about delivers on all fronts. Developed by Radical Entertainment, the people behind the 2003 game based on Ang Lee's movie, Ultimate Destruction is a rather different beast.
Summary: Hulk smashes damn near everything in one of the year's best action games.
Pros: Loads of stuff to do even after you beat the game, Quality storytelling drives a satisfying series of missions, Ridiculous array of moves that are both fun and useful, Top-notch audio production, Two huge, destructible sandbox levels
Cons: Controlling Hulk's jumps is difficult at first, Frequent, though short, load times, One or two long missions badly need checkpoints
