If their weren't any bugs would be best game ever.

Cap1995 , GameStop
8 December 2011
  • Summary: I am saddened when I write this review. This game had so much potential. The game is built around platforming and I can tell you it is fun. That is until you reach it's problems which aren't visible until level 5. Problem #1 Combat. If this was the only problem, I'd rejoice, because it is more of a annoyance. Not deep but not glitched. Nuff said. Problem #2 glitched controls, this is the reason I returned it.

One of the worst games I have ever played

Mr. A. Singh, amazon.co.uk
23 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this game due to the original arcade game being an unlockable extra. Little did I know of the horror which awaited me.... The combat in this game is terrible. Not only do the inputs feel stilted and laggy, the turtles have no attack range; you have to virtually be touching your enemies to hit them. Worse still is that most standard enemies can send you flying and stun you for 3 seconds at a time.

The best bit is the 15 year old unlockable arcade game

"success-unlimited", amazon.co.uk
2 May 2005
  • Summary: Graphics: 3/5 The cel shading that it uses isn't bad but some bits are still bit grainy though. Nothing special here. Sound: 2/5 The music to the new turtle games is rubbish. We want the old one back! I very much doubt that you'll be buying the official soundtrack for this game. Gameplay: 2/5 Most of the fighting involves simply tapping buttons whilst using no actual skill whatsoever.

For Turtles fans to rent and the rest of us to ignore...

Tom Robinson, Amazon
23 June 2004
  • Summary: The TV show was good. The films were good...sort of. But more importantly, the games were brill (particularly 'Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles IV: Turtles In Time' on the SNES). So the idea of a second coming from Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo in a shell-shaded (gettit?) format certainly got me excited. I was expecting carnage on a huge scale. No tactics. No plot. Just pure slaughter from start to finish.

Great 'after pub' game

"daweev", amazon.co.uk
19 May 2004
  • Summary: Ok it should be pretty obvious that this game was never going to melt anyone's brain or anything, afterall the turtles are hardly known for their mental prowers (teenage mutant genius turtles?) so it should be pretty obvious what to expect from the game! Its basically an old school sideways scrolling beat em up, you kick the poop out of a load of baddies, go round a corner, beat the poop out of loads of baddies etc etc until you get to the mega level boss which in this...
