Summary: Tals of Symophia one of the best games I've played. I love all the characters and how they all have a specific presonality. The graphics are amazing. Although it's not blood and gore it does have it's up sides. The story lines for most of all, are amazing and fun to just play. I love the beginning of this one though and how you kind of choose your path and what you want to do. It's an amazing game that deserves all the stars. I love this game!
Summary: Tales of Symphonia is a wonderfully detailed role-playing adventure game. Similar to its prequel, Tales of Destiny 2, the user has the ability to play along as any of the players in your party, as well as with up to 3 friends, it makes the playing experience even better. The battle style is quite different than any game I had played before (other than the prequel), and can lead to multiple types of outcomes.
Summary: This is one of those games that I wish I could have played as a kid. It has it all: a good story, great characters, and a beautifully designed world. Mostly it's the characters that draw me in. Lloyd is the main character and he's kind of an idiot. He's always getting really obvious things wrong and always needing basic things explained (which is great from a storytelling perspective). Genis is his best friend and an elf.
Summary: I bought the game off the amazon for my Wii without reading details. I didn't read that it's meant for US consoles or European ones with freeloader. Although the mistake was clearly mine the seller still offered me a full refund. I was advised to buy gamecube console and use freeloader on it. I'm happy with the order and the way they handled the trade. Perfect customer service.
Summary: It's been a very long time but I have finally sat down and completed this game 7 years after its release and to be honest I am disappointed with myself for leaving it so long. This has been my 3rd attempt to play through this game the first two lasting about 20 hours of game play before finishing. I have no idea why I would have stopped playing as I remember really enjoying the game before suddenly stop playing.
Generic, Dull and Boring in Spite of the Lovely Visuals...

Summary: This is the kind of game that caused my enthusiasm for JRPGs to fall off extremely quickly: a lot of them are the same! Start with a twee, unimaginative story then develop it every so often while you make the player wander from town to town and dungeon to dungeon fighting battle after battle. There's no depth and no effort has been made to advance the genre from the same template that's been used since the 80s.
An RPG fans dream with masses to collect and great combat

Excerpt: Although Tales of Symphonia 2 was recently released on the Wii, the original GameCube title is still very tough to get hold of, but I managed to pick it up from a GameStation for a bargain £18 a few months back (it regularly goes on Ebay for approx £30). Although it’s hyped up a fair bit, I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t be as good as many claimed because the GameCube was known for its lack of RPGs and a drought of any particular genre sometimes wrongly propels...
Pros: Interesting and effective combat system, Decent plot, Huge scope for customisation and collecting
