This is a perfect platform game for kids to learn on. It does a good job of teaching the basic controls, and Flora is usually there to lend a helping hand. Some of battles with plants and animals may seem a bit scary though, so itメs wise to stick around and lend a hand if the games gets a bit too intense for the little ones. Some of the interfaces, especially the モthrowingヤ may require adult intervention because they are just so bizarre. Read more

Tak and the Power of Juju is a fairly enjoyable platform title with an amusing theme. If you’re a gamer that can endure through some dry, unsure moments, then Tak and the Power of Juju may please you. However, you may want to look elsewhere if you are looking for pure cover-to-cover action. Read more

I had been looking forward to playing this game for a very long time. I can honestly say I waited for nothing. How this game ever deserved a sequel is beyond me. Tak and the Power of Juju is a great example of what’s become of gaming today: graphics/sound over gameplay. It’s a pretty package on the outside, but the actual game is too short-sighted and too full of annoying nuances to be anything but a pain in the neck. Nobody really deserves to play this game, because... Read more

Like balloon-chested Jordan in a diving contest, it takes real effort to get below the surface. If you manage it, there's some fun to be found in this jungle. Read more

Editorial: Tak and the Power of JuJu is a cartoon-styled action platformer. Like most action platformers it has a cute main character, an ineffectual bad guy and lots of running and jumping over...platforms. The problem for any new platformer appearing today is that it's such an old and long-ago-mastered genre that any new game has got to have something pretty special in order to stand out. Tak 's primary attempt at a unique selling point (apart from the fact that it was... Read more

Tak has all the makings of a great title for the cube, but a few shortcomings really spoils it. The game is visually stunning, all of the characters move smoothly and look awesome, the plot is engaging and genuinely funny, and a lot of the dialog and cinematics made me chuckle. There are a couple of sub-games, such as a snowboarding course that are also quite playable. If you like entertainging platform games, you should definitely give tak a try. Now, onto the... As others have said, this Tak title is no different than any other platformer out there (Jak, Sly, Ratchet). Nonetheless, it is a fun platforming game that does the job of entertaining the kids and providing some laughter for them. The game isn't difficult by any means and can be beaten in just a couple of sittings. If you can find the game for cheap, go ahead and pick it up for the kids. However, if you can't find it cheap, then just give it a rent and it'll be beat in... Read more
