Summary: I remember playing this game years ago , Ok the graphics are a little outdated now but the game is still good fun and a used Gamecube is only £20 win medals on this game, bronze, silver , gold , if you only manage a bronze you can always come back to that level and try for a better medal , .
Summary: Absolutely brilliant. I've enjoyed this game since I opened the package. As a Star Wars fan, this has covered my need for starship battles completely. Maybe games with improved graphics will appear in the future but that's not the most important, specially considering its playability. Superb game.
Summary: Gamecube's best launch game and one of the best Star Wars games to boot. The controls are smooth and satifying. It looks a treat with a great feel for the movies: going up against a Star Destroyer or swooping down the Death Star trench feels properly epic. There's plenty of missions to play through with more to unlock. All the Rebel Alliance craft are present and correct with some cool unlockables in the TIE Interceptor and Boba Fett's Slave I.
Summary: Anyone who has a Nintendo Wii but never played this on the Gamecube should make it part of their collection! One of the finest Star Wars games ever made. Pilot just about every ship from the Star Wars films in a multitude of scenerios from the movies in a blaze of excellent graphics and sound. The control method is easy with a real sense of freedom of flight and speed.
If Star Wars & epic space battles are your thing get Rogue Leader

Excerpt: "...the end of the original Star Wars film, your objective: take out the Death Star. This sees you taking out shield generators, dog fighting with TIE fighters, and flying at breakneck speeds down the infamous trench. And it’s these incredible set pieces that make you love the game. Even scenes you won’t recognise from the movies look stunning and are drenched in Star Wars atmosphere. And while most objectives are simply destroy or protect, there are ...
Pros: Re - live the cream of Star Wars space battles, A real challenge to earn all the medals
Excerpt: "The Star Wars franchise has come out with a couple really good games since the creation of LucasArts; Empire at War, Republic Commando, Knights of the Old Republic come to my mind. However my all time favorite Star Wars game has got to be Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. There was something about the dogfighting scenes of the movies that I really loved. Maybe it was the model of the ships, maybe it was the epicness of the battles, I just loved the ...
Pros: Star Wars flight sim that's accurate to the movies and fun, craft selection, recognizeable missions
Summary: I never owned a Gamecube, so I never got to play this game. I loved the prequal on the N64, and always thought that this game looked good, but just never got around to it. Now I own a Wii, the gateway to a plethora of retor games has opened before me and this is the first title checked off my "to buy" list. Of course, I had to buy a Gamecube remote and memory card - don't forget to grap those! Anyway, this game looks fantastic (even now) and plays well.
Summary: Although some of the complaints from other reviews are true, such as there being a couple of bland levels, this is an amazing game. Great sound, great graphics, great gameplay but most importantly you will love it if you love star wars. Many of the levels see you taking control of wedge antilles carrying out missions that are not featured in the films such as the capture of the imperial shuttle tyderium.
Excerpt: "...truly being massacred in the Star Wars universe. It even, as the game box proudly boasts, has the original voice for Wedge Antilles, just a hint at how movie like this game sounds. However, the actual music is sometimes original, and doesn't live up to the music from the John Williams piece of the rest of the game. The game itself is a definitely step up from the original - although the missions themselves don't follow the films ...
