Great, but doesn't last long

Mike Awnson, Amazon
10 May 2004
  • Summary: Star Fox Adventures is, a great game. It has many mechanics used in the Zelda games and follows basically the same format as those games. However the game just doesn't have that natural sparkle found in a Nintendo game, that youd come to expect.

A good game, but not for Star Fox

Tagra "catana", Amazon

A disappointing end to the Nintendo/Rare relationship

Arway "Tree Hugger", Amazon
6 January 2005
  • Summary: ON A PLANET LONG AGO... Starfox Adventures is a funny thing - once named Dinosaur Planet, this was destined to arrive on the N64 as Rare's own take on the Zelda series, but it never happened.

Surface Complexity or Deep Complexity?

William Scothern, Amazon
19 January 2003
  • Summary: First and fore most I was very excited about this game. With the news that Rare was leaving Nintendo it worried me that a good developer had gone. And I was right, but they didn't leave with a bang. Upon starting the game there is no doubt that you will be amazed with the graphics.

StarFox Adventures

"adamserve", Amazon
13 January 2003
  • Summary: Taking 3 years to complete this should have been the best game to grace the GameCube. From turning on the game looks the buisness. The graphics are superb and the surround sound really adds more life to the scenary. The animation is great but this is where the best of the game is.

Stunning graphics but too simplistic gameplay

Benedetto Lavino, Amazon
4 December 2002
  • Summary: Talking about graphics SFA could be the best game I ever seen in a console: the characters, the scenarios and every detail are just over the top and the sound is equally great. BUT there's a but: this game looks like it has been developed just for children or not experienced players...
