Expected more honestly...

Summary: This game was kind of a let down to me. Maybe I was expecting more? It definitely does not live up to the original PlayStation series. They tried to do add some different things and new abilities. But honestly I think they should've just kept with what made the originals amazing! This game isn't the worst. Overall it's descent and it's alright to play. It's a good game to pass the time with.
Summary: The graphics aren't bad. But I agree with others that Insomniac did a much better job when they produced the Spyro series. Universal did an alright job, but I miss the good old days. I enjoy playing this game, but it does not have the lasting appeal like the games before it. Overall this is a good game for any one to play and worth the money.
Summary: This game was intended to be a lot better than it is. There were supposed to be 120 dragon flies instead of about 80. More levels, more power ups, better bosses and so on. But they rushed the delivery date and ended up with a bad game. Hopefully they've learned a lesson….Anyways, this game includes some wacky locations, new crazy characters, levels, and tons of things to collect.
Summary: Spyro the dragonfly makes his debut on to the gamecube. This game is quite tough in someplaces for the younger gamer but it is worth the purchase if you are a platforming fan. The graphics are not the best on the next generation console but the gameplay can be quite rewarding, at times the game does go slow when you're running with spyro and the camera angle is poor at times.
Summary: Yes the graphics aren't the greatest and the storyline isn't the most gripping, but if you're after a game that you can just sit down and enjoy then this is the game for you. Graphics aren't everything in a game and i feel that there is sadly too much emphasis placed on them these days. This may be the reason for the not so dazzling reviews of this game but as far as a bit of fun goes i can get plenty out of this.
