Summary: Let me tell you one thing: THIS GAME IS MOTHER ****ING AWESOME! I MEAN, THINK ABOUT IT! 3 RARE SONIC GAMES ALL IN 1 COLLECTION! WHO GIVES A **** IF THEY DIDN'T ADD IN KNUCKLES' CHAOTIX OR SEGASONIC THE HEDGEHOG?!?!? SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IS MOTHER ****ING AWESOME! Graphics: 10/10 They really made this game awesome with some new graphics! It made me say "**** just got real". Updates: 10/10 THIS MADE THE GAME MOAR AWESOME! Everything else: 10/10 IT IS AWESOME!
Summary: The main draw of this game is Sonic CD. I can't make up my mind whether this is one of the best Sonic games for its enormous size, or whether it annoys me for being too messy and sprawling. A quick runthrough doesn't reveal the depth of this game and I reckon trying to unlock everything in it would be pretty rewarding.
Summary: Why no Knuckles Chaotix?!?!?! Anyway, the three main games on this collection (SONIC CD, SONIC FIGHTERS and SONIC R) are definitely worth getting your hands on if you were/are a fan of the classic Sonic games from the 90's. SONIC CD is excellent and is the best game on here. It's not quite Sonic 2, but it's a little known classic. 8/10 SONIC FIGHTERS is a stripped down version of Virtua Fighters 2, but with characters for the Sonic universe.

Summary: This is well worth getting on PS2, for which it is much cheaper. On Gamecube, it's garbage. You'll be paying upwards of four times the price because it's rare, and for what? Fewer features. That's right, because thw X button isn't used in the Gamecube version you can't use Debug mode properly. Even if you don't want to use this mode, it's a joke that you're expected to pay £25 for this when you can get the same game on another console for less than a fiver.
great game.....but what happened to putting in streets of rage???

Summary: when i heard sonic gems was going to have streets of rage 1, 2 and 3 on it as a bonus i was realy looking faward to it but then the jappanese only released streets of rage on the jappanese version of sonic gems! grrrrr! ...........but anywasys this is a classic collection with my all time favourite, sonic on it! deffinently worth its price! There's hours of fun on this game so i'd suggest you bought it because it's great!
Summary: Two words: FIFTY HERTZ. The absence of a 60Hz display option on Sonic Gems means it's lazy PAL conversion time again! Sega did a top quality job with the previous Sonic Mega Collection on the Gamecube, which makes it all the more annoying that they didn't bother to lavish the same attention to detail on this second makeweight collection. Serious gamers who must have Sonic CD will know what to do - get out your Freeloader and import this one!
Summary: With this installment, the Gamecube now plays host to virtually every Sonic game ever made. Still, this collection cannot help but feel like leftovers to the superlative Mega Collection. I'm disappointed with Sonic CD; despite some clever ideas, it feels messy and rushed. Sonic R is terrible to play and looks very dated. Sonic the Fighters brings back memories of playing it at the arcade and is quite good. The Gamegear games feel restrictive and frustrating.
