Excerpt: Pokemon is a worldwide franchise that's introduced a whole new world of media. It's been a factor of many people's childhood and continues to take the world by storm. Although not as popular as if once was, which is understandable considering the franchise has been around for nearly twenty years, there are still many people being introduced to the games and many old fans that still enjoy it to this day.
Pros: Great booklet, lots of mini games, and you get a Jirachi at the end of it .
Cons: I didn't feel like I was playing a game and it was boring at times .
Summary: Give this game a chance. it's a simple little game, but quite fun and good to pass a little spare time. It involves simple tasks, collecting cards, getting to know pikachu and getting him to like you. And most of all, watching tv shows. Yes the shows are pretty awful, but if you really get into them, you will find yourself enjoying it. For example, trying doing smoochums fitness with pikachu! the excersises are simple, and you should have fun doing them!
Summary: This game is where you have a pikachu and you look after it etc. and help Professor Oak run a TV channel-"Pokemon Channel." You get new tasks everyday, and new TV shows. But after 6 days (real time) all the shows have been aired. You have to watch them all to be able to go to the next tasks and new shows (I found my self putting the show on then watching real TV while I waited for it to end). After 6 days, the is nothing to do. At all.
Summary: i bought this for my son's seventh birthday. now, i am a game fan myself so gaming is something we do quite happily together (except sonic games, which he loves and i abhor). this, however, is a really peculiar offering which has some lovely ideas but never quite gets off the ground.
Summary: As a fan of the Pokemon game series this is amazingly disappointing. There was a game a little like it on the N64 called "Hey you, Pikachu!" which used a microphone to add something inventive to the game, it was dull then, but now it's truly poor. All you do is watch bad tv with Pikachu, do a couple of dull tasks with Pikachu like watering a flower, or answering Pokemon general knowledge questions from the various pokemon that you see around.
Summary: A great game for Pokemon Fans & young children. Drives me & their Dad mad but my kids love it (an age thing) - shame it isn't multi-player as they all want to go on it at once. Great value at under £20.
Summary: This is a great game for fans of both the Gameboy and the Trading Card Game. In the game, you are the test viewer of the all new "Pokemon Channel" and with the help of a wild Pikachu you review programmes such as Shop 'n' Sqirtle (which you use to decorate your room). You and your Pika pal can also visit the forest, beach and mountains once you obtain the travel passes to these areas.
Summary: The fact of the matter is you should follow your own judgment on this one! Its kind of like a tamagotchi idea with pikachu! you have to keep him happy and watch TV with him and stuff. He got so annoyed at me once he blew up the TV by shocking it! This game might look all cutesy but its just a nice game NOT just for kids! if your looking for a laid back nice game buy this one! go on people judge for yourself!
Summary: This game is simply unique. It was great fun to play with my twin. Itdoesn`t last long but is highly addictive and has excellent graphics. Itbeats Zelda by miles and is a great bargain for under £20. If you didn`tlike pokemon you`ll still enjoy this game. It is based around a tv whereyou get to go shopping and by things with your local currency `Poke`.
