Phantasy Star Online Episode 3: C.A.R.D. Revolution

Gaming Evolution
8 March 2005
  • Conclusion: Episode III is an under hyped game, but is surely a GameCube gem. Episode I and II players will not want to miss this one as it wraps up the Phantasy Star Online story, but new players to the series who are skeptical about the ''C.A.R.D.'' part of the game, fear not! I was in the same situation as you at one point and all I had to do was open up my mind and not be afraid to try something new. I certainly do not regret. This is the best Phantasy Star Online game.

Phantasy Star Online Episode III: CARD Revolution

Nintendo World Report

  • Summary: Well, it’s online. That’s a good thing, right?
  • Pros: Lends itself well to tournament-style gameplay, Lots of cards to collect and strategies to use, Rules are totally customizable
  • Cons: Inability to battle as your own character is utterly ridiculous, It looked great on DC. Not now., Really, the battle system is slower than molasses, or possibly Skies of Arcadia, The arenas suck, WHIRR WHIRR LOAD LOAD PAN PAN

GameSpot
4 March 2004
  • Excerpt: When Sonic Team first launched Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast in early 2001 in the US, it was a landmark title. PC gamers had already been enjoying widespread online gaming for a while, but PSO was the game that shepherded online console gaming into the mainstream. The game endeared itself to thousands of players across the globe with its accessible action RPG gameplay, its extensive item system, and the community that grew from it.

Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution (GC)

Phantasy Star Online Episode III : C.A.R.D. Revolution

JeuxVideo.fr
15 September 2005

Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution

Nintendofans.de
30 July 2005
