  • Summary: Attention all Hunters - a new mission awaits you. To begin your assignment, you must land on Planet Ragol via an alternate spaceship known as...the Nintendo GameCube! In this latest version of Sonic Team's award-winning RPG series, you get two games in one. Episode I gives you all the hit content and gameplay from the original PSO and PSO ver.2. Episode II brings a new full-length adventure that's exclusive to the Nintendo GameCube.

Phantasy Star Online Episode III

Project COE
3 March 2004
  • Conclusion: Replay value is very good, because Episode III is just like all other card-based games, you’ll want to get every card in the game. While this is very hard to do, it is always a nice goal when you replay the game, and I for one always have a second file in every card game I have played because trying to get all the cards is really addicting.

Phantasy Star Online Ep III

Shin Force
14 February 2004
  • Excerpt: latest installment fits the bill.  Gone is the action/RPG we've all come to know and enjoy -- in comes a new strategy card battle system, complete with card collection, deck management, and team-based battle tactics.  I've been looking forward to this review for some time.

Phantasy Star Online: Episodes I and II

Project COE
29 October 2002
  • Conclusion: Replay value in PSO is very high, because you’ll want to make another character to go through the story with after you’ve beaten it once. Replay is also necessary if you want to experience every aspect of the game, because no matter what character type you make, it's always a lot different in the game with another.
