Excerpt: Pac Man World 2 is a solid and decent game, and some people will really enjoy it. It has clear graphics, average sound, decent controls, and a fairly long length. But I found the experience to be annoying and cheap for the most part, as well as boring.
Excerpt: Upon starting up the game we're treated to a full-motion video intro that provides us with our story. Inky, Blinky, Clyde, and Sue are up to trouble again, but this time they go too far when they steal the Golden Fruit from Pac-Man Village, thus releasing a long-caged evil known as...Spooky. Retrieving the fruit, teaching the ghosts a lesson, and putting Spooky back in his place falls on the shoulders (if he had shoulders) of Pac-Man.
Summary: Pac-Man has been around for over two decades, but Namco is keeping the mascot alive with Pac-Man World 2. Is he as exciting as ever, or does Namco have him on life support? There's only one way to find out!
Pros: Both old-school and new at the same time, Good music, Great linear platforming action, Lots of character
Cons: Control issues, Fairly unoriginal gameplay, Saving problems, Somewhat short
