Summary: Sadly this game is the last that follows the original Need for Speed feeling. A great game with a lot of cops and speeding. I personally don't really like the music, I better liked the NFS3 style music but it's okay. I recommend this game for all the fans of the original NFS idea.
Excerpt: there are so many greater and better games than this. its just another EA production line "special". It just runs on from previous need for speed games, and cannot be classed as a good racing game. there are so many better games on the market; i wont make the same mistake again. Needs many more cars and should follow Gran Turismo's steps in that field.
Excerpt: The Need For Speed : Hot pursuit 2 is a great game you can choose between 25 cars or you can be the cop driving a Lamborgini Diablo :-) Hot pursuit 2 is a fun game because in Hot Pursuit mode you are racing and cops get behind you and try to put on you a Ticket so they can call for a helicopter that trows bombs to you or call for a roadblock so it is very fun also If you are a "bad Guy" you can be the cop and call for 3 choppers for a car so is extremely fun , after this...
Summary: In itself, this is a good game. Not great, but good enough. The soundtrack is well made and the graphics are good, but nothing we haven’t seen before... Combine NFS with the Logitech force-feedback steering wheel though, and you won’t know what hit you! You’ll feel every bump in the road, every puddle of water and you can even feel when you are about to lose control of your car. Definitely worth the money!
Excerpt: When Electronic Arts organizes haletantes race-continuations on the American roads, the radars panic and the players jubilent. If the Championship of this Need For Speed wants to be very traditional in spite of about thirty challenges suggested, the principal attraction of this new version remains without question the mode "Continuation" opposing the police force to the roadhogs in the racing cars of middle-class man.
Excerpt: First things first, there are enough racing games on this planet to last you a lifetime, fact. Why, then, would you want to buy another one? Well, read on, dear games player and I will tell you. The Need for Speed games have been going for a pretty long time now, since the PSX and Saturn originals, in fact. The basic aim of the game is to race as fast as possible against other famous racing cars.
Summary: When i saw this game first it was on the PC it was great. I enjoyed the graphics and game play. The multiplayer on the PC was great with the choice of been the cops or the racer. The gamecube version is a let down in all ways. With poor graphics and sound and with the limited choice of cars the game play of this racer is 2-5 days.
Summary: If you don't like driving games, then move on now. This game is not going to convert anyone to the art of racing simulation. This game has almost everything you need from a racing game. The graphics are superb. If you can tear yourself away from the driving, take a look at the stunning backdrops. Waterfalls, volcanoes, oceans, ancient ruins etc. The cars you can select are all real, and all mouth watering !!
Summary: If you've ever played a need for speed title then you know pretty much what to expect. But for those who are new let me explain a little about the game first.... The Need for Speed series has always been about racing fast and exotic cars along real world roads rather than round proper race tracks. This means you will encounter traffic and most importantly the police.
