Pros: good graphics

Summary: NBA Courtside is a stunningly average basketball game featuring a comprehensive amount of detail and a reasonable selection of play modes. I found the Arcade mode the most fun, but you need to change the game's speed setting to 'fast' for it to become enjoyable. As far as basketball games go, you could to a lot worse than to pick up a second hand copy of this for under a tenner. Just don't expect the world to be set alight.
Summary: NBA courtside had the potential to be a great game with amazing graphics unfortunately it only managed 1 of those things. The only reason I gave the game 2 stars was because of the graphics. The gameplay is appalling, I was bored after just 2 minutes but I carried on for about 20 minutes just in case it got better. Low and behold it didnt. The only thing remotely enjoyable about this game is the 3 point contest.
Excerpt: "...So I decided to by NBA Courtside 2002 on the GameCube. I have owned this for about 2 weeks and played it often so I feel now is the right time to share my views on it. I feel I should start with the graphics. The graphics are great, they look realistic and the game characters really do look like their real life counterparts from O’Neal’s huge height to Bryant’s mini afro, it’s all there. What I really like about the graphics is the court, it looks ...
Summary: This is a great basketball game, the graphics are amazing, the detail of the players, stadiums and players moves are like nothing I've seen before. I found that the commentary was quiet good compared to that of other sports games it keeps up with whats happening and doesn't get repetative. If you get bored of all the rules then the arcade mode will blow you away, it's fast and furious with plenty of crazy dunks and passes that you will want to replay again and again.
Summary: Well., what more can you want from a basketball game? This is my first and only game so far on my gamecube and as far as these kind of games go, it really pretty great. The graphics and game play are both excellent, however nba street on the ps2 which i played a month ago has to take the biscuit. Even though courtside is more reallistic, it is slower and not quite as zany as the ps2 contender.
Summary: simply amazin cos of all the modes, but i would prefer a different mode than 3 point shoot out, which you cant win. The arcarde mode is just fun, the hot spots bein the main reason, but also all the moves you can do, either wack passes, amazing freestlyin, or simply the phatest dunks around. The graphics are just as good as xbox, so all xbox lovers, uve been had.
Summary: Nice graphics, good gamespeed and a lot of time spend on the details. Realistic and a lot of gameplesure. Great slamdunks, also to see again on replay from all angles. You can also create a player (yourself for instands) with different hairtype, head, muscles, bodyhear etc, etc. You haven a certain amount of pionts to devide on your player on speed, strenght, shot accurancy, number etc.
