Excerpt: This is a review on a fairly old game done by KOEI; it is called Mystic Heroes. It is a similar game to dynasty warriors, but with fewer troops, and more like an RPG game. It is an earlier instalment then Dynasty Warriors 4, and could also be classified better. It is up to 4 player, and it is for the Gamecube and the Playstation 2.
Pros: Graphics | Coolness | Gameplay | 4 player | Multiplayer | Story
Cons: Prefer Dynasty Warriors | Lack Of Characters
Summary: When I bought this game I was looking for the 'Dynasty Warriors' or 'Kessen' style gameplay of, be in/control a army fight a few hour (or two) long levels... but when I got it out I found it much more interesting, it may have been quiet simply, but again it doesn't matter. The story is much more in-deepth as I expected.
Summary: Yes you see this game and immediately think legendary Japanese style RPG action with an epic storyline and more than admirable women. Cool huh?...No Well you've just fallen for a game with poor screenplay, next to no storyline, a measly few hours of repetative "A" tapping gameplay and no role playing aspect. It is particularly difficult to take enemies seriously when they have cute puffed up faces.
Summary: After purchasing this game on the strength of the customer reviews, I was surprised by how addictive and enjoyable the game was. When the game is on the hard difficulty level ,gameplay becomes more tactical and frantic.Knowing when to opt for the gung-ho approach or using a target spell from a distance is paramount. The story-line is suitable for children and provides adults who need to de-stress with a perfect opportunity in the melee of battle.Buy it!
Summary: When I first popped this game into my GameCube I had a friend at my house and we instantly went on the multiplayer. At first we really didn't know what to do, so we just ran around pressing random buttons and killing the hundreds of people that came after us. We are both the kind of people who don't tend to read manuals. Although, after we read the manual we knew what to do. This made the game become amazing.
Summary: ...Indeed, who would have thought that a game with such a low and quiet background could be so much fun! I bought this game, after returning a certain 'all monsters melee', as a joke. I didn't expect much out of it, but the moment i set it all up the action is intense. A little hard to get used to the controls, but after a short time, you become a pro. If you think this game is another japanese throwback your wrong. I only considered it because it's a multiplayer game.
Summary: Mystic Heroes! **************** 1.
Pros: wunderschön gestaltete Grafik, viel zum Freischalten, süchtigmachent
