Overall, if it wasn�t for a couple of hurtful glitches, that I personally just can�t get past, MVP would be the best game this year. In the eyes of many it is the best, and I�m happy they enjoy the game. For me, purity is more important than flash, so I give MVP 2nd nod in the round of games this year�but a damn close 2nd it is. There's only one problem with the game, and it could be a big one: there is no way for two or more players to play in the same team - as you can do in All-Star Baseball. For example: when each player chooses their position…here, you play against only one other player, and each of you must have separate teams. The only multiplayer experience would be on the pitcher showdown or homerun derby. That's the only thing missing from this, otherwise, amazing game. Read more
MVP Baseball 2004 is a great baseball game across the board. Solid in every department, this one will be hard to top simply for the fact that it has very few weaknesses. While other entries might feature better stat-tracking or deeper Dynasty modes, they'll be hard-pressed to be as well-rounded as MVP . A very fair ball. Read more
