Mortal Kombat: Deception (GC)
28 November 2005
Excerpt: It's been almost a year now since the second current-gen Mortal Kombat game, Deception, and near two since the revision of MK, Deadly Alliance. And yet, with each new installment of this darkly humorous, gruesomely violent series, the core game play remains intact, though systems and controllers, as well as changing audiences. See, I remember when MK first came out.
Excerpt: Shang Tsung and Quan Chi then turned on each other, with Quan Chi being victorious. The victory was short lived, though, as the Dragon King, Onaga, former ruler of Outworld then returned. A new alliance was formed between the Deadly Alliance and Raiden to try and stop Onaga, but it was futile. Raiden sacrificed himself, hoping to not only destroy Onaga, but also the Deadly Alliance. He only succeeded in (possibly) killing the sorcerous duo. Onaga was unharmed.
