Summary: I really don't see all the hype. It's an alright game and its graphics aren't AMAZING! Don't get me wrong this game has graphics that are years above it's age but there not the best. The shooting system is alright but too look around is a bit confusing to do.
Summary: Metroid prime was one of the first pure fighting games for the gamecube made by Nintendo. Metroid prime is a first person shooter . The game has multiple "levels" that you get to from elevators. You start out with almost all the weapons then you lose them all. Which is a good start but a huge pain.
Summary: I love shooters so I wanted to try this out it is not perfect though. In the beginning you lose all your armor and weapons. That was annoying because in the next level you have to find all your equipment. That could take a day because you have a lot of stuff to find and you can't go everywhere because...
Summary: Metroid Prime was one of the reasons I purchased a gamecube after all this time. After reading all of the rave reviews and seeing it on most top ten lists I decided that I needed to see what the hype was all about. First off, this is one huge game.
Excerpt: My Favorite inclusion to the Metroid family. From the second you see Samus Aran's ship dock at an eerie Space Pirate Frigate, you know you're in for a treat. Then all of a sudden, you see her, the legendary bounty hunter rise from her ship.
Pros: Outstanding Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, and Basic Puzzles .
Cons: Lacks Multiplayer, Chozo Artifacts too hard to Find .
Excerpt: Metroid prime is no doubt a great game. If you look around the internet at gaming sites like game spot, you will find that metroid prime is there number one game of all time. Of course, we all have our own opinion, but I have yet to find a review that does not recommend Metroid prime.
Pros: Visually stunning excellent in depth story Great exciting gameplay
Excerpt: What a game. Who would have thought that the Metroid series could come to gamecube, switch to first person view and be this good? Truly one of the best looking games on any console, Metroid Prime works so well because it immerses the gamer in Samus' world, making you feel like your all alone.
Excerpt: When a classic character like Samus Aran makes a massive change from 2D to 3D, it can sometimes ruin its legacy but thankfully this isn't the case with Metroid Prime. What Nintendo and Retro Studios have done is create one of THE best games on the Gamecube.
