Summary: First off, Metroid Prime isn't all what its cracked up to be, the graphics are great and the sound is good, but, and it is a big BUT, the gameplay isn't all that great. First off you have to scan everything. You can't just press a button to activate an elevator, you have to scan the button, read about the button then watch a mini-cutscene and then you ride the elevator, also, I was never quite sure what I was meant to be doing and why I was meant to be doing it.
Summary: and thats about it. Unfortunately, since the amazing shoot em up to end all shoot em ups was released on Xbox it seems that all other games are sub par in equivalent. Now, I know that this assertion is just not fair, but as far as shoot em ups go, Metroid Prime is relatively a dull and uninspiring piece of action gaming.

Summary: .... All my friends loved this, but I was so disappointed. The game is pretty good until you escape from the ship at the start - then, you're thrown into an area with little clues of where to go or what to do. Looking at the map reveals blue areas that you haven't visited yet, trekking back to reach these reveals that in fact you need a new power up to get to them, so you then need to go half way back across the level to try and find it.
