Summary: This game is really fun. But don't buy it if you will never have someone to play it with because single player is so boring and confusing, I never even got past the first part. But the multiplayer is the only good part but that is so fun.
Summary: metroid prime 2 is good not as good as 1 but still awesome. id recommend you play prime 1 first or one of the gba games. this game is not easy. i played through to the last boss b4 dark samus emperor ing and i still havent beat it.

Summary: Metroid Prime is my personal favourite game ever made. Retro did a magnificent job of taking the Metroid series and spinning it in a different direction while still maintaining what is inherently 'Metroid' about Metroid. It still looks excellent to this day and plays magnificently. So when Echoes came out, I bought it day one without needing to think about it. Echoes tries to add a few new elements to Prime's make-up.
Excerpt: "...of backtracking (common to all metroid games) does get very annoying after a while. I managed to overcome it in Metroid prime, which took me about 3-4 months to finish as I frequently lost interest for large periods of time (but I always came back to it). With MP:echoes, I simply couldn't find the motivation to repeat it (not because its worse than its predecessor, its just having to go through the same experience again), it just wasn't enjoyable ...
Good, but slightly annoying like all Metroid titles

Summary: This is a good game, and is an improvement upon its predecessor in every way. Excellent graphics, sound, gameplay, weapons, storyline etc. (the others reviewers here have done a good job going through the positives). But as mentioned by some reviewers, the concept of backtracking (common to all metroid games) does get very annoying after a while.
Summary: With so much to enjoy - fantastic worlds, great foes, interesting puzzles and much shooting... it is definitely a game worth playing. Especially when the number and quality of Gamecube releases is diminishing rapidly. There are moments of sheer awe in it - that you want to take in, were it not for the amount of activity going on around you (mostly different beasts and instruments trying to take you on and out).
Summary: I don't have this game yet and may be able to get it. I have played the first and was looking forward to this but the game Metriod Prime 2 only supports a TV WITH 60 HERTZ COMPATIBILITY, most TVs only support 50 HERTZ so you may not be able to play the game on your TV.
