Great game, though doesn't surpass it's predecessor

Summary: Metroid Prime is my personal favourite game ever made. Retro did a magnificent job of taking the Metroid series and spinning it in a different direction while still maintaining what is inherently 'Metroid' about Metroid. It still looks excellent to this day and plays magnificently.
Excerpt: This game is undescribable. To start i paid £4.99 for a copy of this game. Which to be honest is what it is a copy. this game is almost exactly the same as the first one, but not ground breaking. the first gamecube version was moderate..
Excerpt: This is a good game, and is an improvement upon its predecessor in every way. Excellent graphics, sound, gameplay, weapons, storyline etc. (the others reviewers here have done a good job going through the positives).
Good, but slightly annoying like all Metroid titles

Summary: This is a good game, and is an improvement upon its predecessor in every way. Excellent graphics, sound, gameplay, weapons, storyline etc. (the others reviewers here have done a good job going through the positives).
Excerpt: I'm sure everyone has heard of Metroid Prime. And from the large audience who know of Metroid Prime, a huge percentage from that huge percentage of the world loved it. It was a great game, different from the others but it still had many elements from the past Metroid games.
Pros: Great graphics, multiplayer, great storyline . Everything?
Excerpt: This game is brilliant I virtually completed the first, Metroid Prime, but failed as the final boss was a killer. However this game has to be my favourite game at this current time. It's brilliant. *Packaging* The case is the usual DVD style case.
Excerpt: After the release of Metroid Prime on Gamecube a sequel was inevitable. The combination of silky detailed graphics, action orientated gameplay and challenging/enjoyable puzzles made gamers want more. And so Retro Studios, in conjunction with Nintendo, duly obliged. The original game had it all.
Pros: Great graphics, storyline and gameplay
Cons: Music found wanting somerimes , still some mindless backtracking
Excerpt: When Metroid Prime intially hit the shelves it was critically acclaimed and deemed by many enthusiasts (myself included) to be the best game on the GameCube. So when Retro Studios announced they were making a sequel to this game, it got many a Nintendo gamer's heart in all of a flutter.
