Not the best Mario Party game.

  • Summary: This game is not the best in the Mario Party series, but it provides entertainment if you are looking to expand your Mario Party collection. Both the 5th and the 7th games (both for GameCube) are structured much better. On the game boards it's very easy to get stuck in loops, which makes it unnecessarily difficult to acquire stars.

Mario Party 4

  • Summary: I have Mario Party 2,3,4,6,7,8 and 4 is definitely not my favorite. It does not have the typical items we have grown to love such as the super mushroom, etc. The boards are decent and it can be a fun game, but it is not one that is fun to play in solo mode.

A little disappointed in this Mario Party Game.

  • Summary: Mario Party 4 (Gamecube) I've read a ton of reviews for all the Mario Party games and was really excited when Mario Party 4 was finally available to rent at my local video store. I was expecting something along the lines of Fusion Frenzy for the Xbox. Mario Party 4 doesn't even come close. I was extremely dissapointed with the fact that you have to unlock all the mini-games before you can play them with friends.

  • Summary: Mario Party 4, Mario Party 4 , all it is a really good board game, just with mini- games. Mario is a fun game if you have 4 controllers, it ain't all that fun if you are playing by yourself. You can chose from 8 different characters and there are tonns of min-games. I found Mario Party fun, only if you are playingt with your friends. A great game at partys.

A pretty good game, but what's new?

  • Summary: Well, I don't own a GC, but I love and play it daily and at various friend's houses. Well, one of my friend's picked this up and played it with me. I was amazed by several things, but it did have a few problems: 1. Graphics: Fantastic! I can't beleive how good this game looks. The N64, my friends, was a good system, but its graphics were anything from good. It showed in the first 3 Mario's (on the N64). But finally, Mario is given some justice.

  • Summary: I thought this game was old after the 3rd one. Well, I guess I was wrong. Now it's back and pumpin' out more of that all night long video game party with four of your friends. If you are a really big fan of the sries, go out and grab a copy. For the rest of us I think we should just stick with Godzilla- Destroy all Monstera Melee.

Mario Party 4, you get what you pay for.

  • Summary: I'm going to make this review short. Mario Party 4 is fun, if you've played any of the others, you know what to expect and you get it. The game isn't a break through, but if you want a fun party game for all ages this it. This game can entertain kids under 10 for hours, or provide a great game to drink to for college kids.

Too slow with the computer players

Mr. L. C. Emmott "Lee Emmott", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: A Mario Party game ok, well they are fun in a way but also slow if you're playing with COM players then you have to wait a long time before you can go and now they's shops you can go into and buy things since the computer players always buy stuff. The whole point to Mario Party is that Bowser the Koopa King has stolen the stars and it's your job to get them back. You travel to each board trying to get the stars doing some mini-games on them.

  • Summary: This is a kiddy board game with characters sucha s Mario, DK etc. There are a few boards and lots of different mini games that you play in in order to win coins and therefore stars. + Big range of mini games + Mini games are easy fo kids - older gamers will find most mini games too easy - There is nothing to make you complete the one player game
