Summary: It's just soooo frustrating to play as it's seems to run so slow. Visuals are usual Nintendo fair. Ok for kids below 10 i'd say but ultimately dissapointment and a definite backward step for the series.
Excerpt: "The iconic game that was Mario Kart 64 was without a doubt one of the shining lights of the N64. A game that not only brought new ideas to the genre but produced one of the most addictive and enjoyable experiences to date. Mario Kart Double Dash!! has a huge duty on its shoulders to follow this giant of the gaming world. Double Dash is based around racing in customised karts in a wide variety of the Super Mario worlds. Not only do you have to race ...
Pros: Fun addictive gameplay with an enjoyable mulitplayer
Cons: Sometimes very frustrating & no 4 player at grand prix mode
Summary: This game is extreamly good fun in multi player. It also has much to unlock and explore. There are the good points now for the negative ones. The single most infuriating thing about this game is the insulting lack of skill the game involves. By this i mean that if you are a seasoned pro and play this game 23 hours a day, you can still get beaten by a sony patriot!! The game involves far to much luck and no where near enough actuall gamer skill.
One player would facinate a monkey for about an hour!!!!!!

Summary: The expectations for this game were it was supposed to be one of the greatest racing games for the gamecube.Fair enough the game has a great multiplayer facility , but the amount of things you could do on a one player would facinate a monkey for about an hour! The one player option has no depth it is not hard at all.
Summary: I had very high expectations for this game, I was one of those people who bought it on the first day of release. However I was quite disappointed when I actually got down to playing the game. The tracks are quite bland, the handling of some of the karts is awful and worst of all - the multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode has gone through a severe downgrade in my opinion.
Summary: There is no denying it, Mario Kart:Duble Dash!! is a brilliant dissapointment. The multiplayer should shine as it did in the original with the addition of co-op karting. But it doesnt. Co-op karting is when both of you share a kart and switch between being the weapon thrower/puncher/person who saves everyone(your punches dodge the kart to the left or right) and the driver. Both are hilarious.
Summary: Having been waiting for this game for many months, I expected a lot from it, maybe too much. The game delivers great 2-4 player kart racing but fails in two main areas. Single player mode is really easy and gets boring after not too long, so unless you have people to play with you will get bored fast. 2-4 player vs mode and grand prix mode is fun but the fact that there are only 12 tracks in total is very dissapointing.
Summary: After playing Mario Kart Double Dash for a few days, I have already got through 3/4 of the entire game. There are many aspects that I am not impressed with at all. On the plus side, the gameplay is good, as are the graphics, but it sports none of the hour on hour muliplayer action that the 64 version had. The circuits seem too short and boring, without many short cuts which made the 64 version more exciting.
