Excerpt: "...This game is based on Legends of wrestling, People such as the mighty Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and Rob Van Dam. There are 3 ways to win. A knock out, or a Count out (This is when you are outside the ring for more then ten seconds) or a Pin. History ********* I've got many games from Acclaim and they are probably one of my favourite companies. I trust their games in general and they have released some great titles on the Nintendo 64. Turok and Shadowman ...
Pros: Cheap and easy to find in the 2nd hand section
Cons: Control are annoyingly bad, not enough different moves .
Summary: I bought this game when I was on holiday. I read the book everyday because I was so excited about playing it and I didn't have my PS2 with me. I started playing on it the morning after I got home. I thought it was going to be as good as the Smackdown! series but was shocked to find out that this game was actually pretty poor. GAMEPLAY To start off with the match setup is easy to follow and picking your wrestler is also very easy. But after this stage it is fairly poor.
Excerpt: "...is meant to be about legends of wrestling which means the wrestlers should be well known, but it seems to be the only way to get any female wrestlers, as it seems there aren't any female legends. I don't really see why you have to create a legend, because all the largest wrestlers seem to have breasts. Know besides how bad everything else was, that is probably the ultimate humiliation. There are a lot of players, but there are also a lot to unlock. ...
Pros: 1 - 4 players, cheap,a 'few' good wrestlers, not much else
Cons: Where do I begin, crap graphics, moves, players look like they have breasts
Summary: This game had the potential to be a great wrestling game, but it turned out to be a disapointment. There aren't enough matches to do, no backstage brawling, all the wrestlers look like plastic figures and the creata wrestler feature is rubbish because you can only choose ONE face, not enough hair styles, a selection of a few colours without tints and shades, no text and not enough costumes.
